Homemade Baby Wipes

You can use homemade wipes on the go as easily as regular baby wipes. Store them in either a resalable plastic bag or a plastic travel wipes container.
First, take one roll of strong paper towels (like Viva) and cut it in half using a knife. Be careful! Once you get it cut into two halves you need to take out the cardboard core so that the wipes will pull easily out of the center of the roll.
Then, set your two rolls of paper towels aside so that you can make your baby wipe solution. It is very simple. Mix the following ingredients in a large mixing bowl:
♦ 2 cups water
♦ 1 TBS of baby oil
♦ 1 TBS  baby soap. (I use whatever I got on sale!)
Lastly, Place one of the halved rolls of paper towels in an airtight container, Tupperware containers work great. Pour half of the solution over the towels in the container and seal closed. Allow some time for mixture to absorb into the towels before using to clean up messes. I always made both rolls at the same time and stored one in the nursery and one in the living room for quick access.  Be sure to use in a timely fashion so they don’t mildew or get stinky!
